EXTEME PULL-UP CREW

AINT NUTTIN BUT A PEANUT! OOHHHHH AAAHHHHHHHH! (In a Ronnie Coleman voice :))

So the new contest is about the NUMBER of pull-ups. I was doing great about a month and a half ago, but unforunately I injured my butt muscle a month ago and missed a total of 5 weeks due to my injury and winter break. None the less, I am back to working my back and doing pull-ups. I tried my luck today at the gym and managed to score a total of 20 pronated pull-ups with perfect form. That leaves me with little less than 2 months to manage to get another 10 more pull-ups to place number 1 as of right now.

  2. just looked it up, im gonna start doing this:

Find out the max number of pullups you can perform in one set, divide it by two, then perform that many pullups five times a day, throughout the day, six days a week. Week two and beyond, increase by one the number of pullups to be performed in one set. After a month or so, take a break of a few days, then do a max set. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

  3. Where did you find that info? I personally haven't heard of that, but I'm not saying it's not worth it.
Anyway, what I do is work on my WIDE-GRIP pullups, which are a lot harder, with VERY STRICT form. Do that for a few weeks and you'll see the difference in your pronated, shoulderwith pull-ups.

    Just my 2 cents.

  5. saw this over on BB. People don't realize how hard doing pullups is because excess fat really hampers your total number :/
